Handy hints!

There's heaps of new options in your profile, sch as an avatar to be displayed with your stories, a location, and even set the timezone. Use My Account to edit it!
All the stories someone's added are now located on the 'Track' tab of their user profile.
If you'd like other users to be able to get in touch with you, there's a new option to enable a contact form on your profile.
Check out the help for more!

Lord Of The Dark Side

Notes: This time around, lighting and shading were done completly in Gimp 2, while I still need Photoshop Elements for laying down the mat colors, I found the Gimp is a better program for doing the highlighting. I'm really happy with the way the lightning turned out, I had to redo it several times before I was able to do it with it not clashing with the backround. And I was also glad to be able to do shade cloth in a way that doesn't make it look shiny.

Wonderful job. I really like the way it seems to have sharp lines and blurred areas, if that makes sense. Makes me think of the my-way-or-the-highway side to Darth Revan and the softer-gentler side. (Either that or I've had way to much coffee this morning and my eyes are jittery!)

Whatever the reason, it's a great picture and the lightning is terrific.

wow, you did an awesome job with the reflections off the armor plating as well as the lightning. I have no idea how people can draw on computers so well, but anyhow, good job. ;)
