Normally, I never go for the FRevan Juhani romance. Not becuase I don't like Juhani, but rather because I perfer the FRev Carth story.
But I was reading A Cathar, a Captain, and a Former Sith Lord by Crystal001 last night and it made me think that Revan and Juhani might work well together, given the chance. It's a promising relationship too often overlooked by fans and as it occured to me Revann as well. My mind wandered and eventually lead me here for some reason. It has absolutly nothing at all to do with the story I mentioned.
Done in Manga Studio. Had fun with tones. B&W is toughter than you'd think.
I was thinking of the song Moondace by Nightwish for this. Give a listen and you'll see what I mean.

This is the first time I've seen Juhani drawn with this much hair, and you did it very well. And the pose is also good, it is challenging at best to do one like this.
But there are a three problems with this. The first being the most noticeable for me was Juhani's clasped hands; the smallest finger on Juhani's hand is a bit too small. Secondly, the point of Revan's chin could be alinged better with the nose and mouth. And lastly, just a nit really, I think that we should be able to see Revan's right hand on Juhani's back.
All in all a very well drawn piece of artwork. Although I would've liked to see this in color. But hey, you can only do what is within your own resources.

Yeah. I tried getting Revan's hand on Juhani's back a few times. couldn't quite get it work so I gave up T_T; Revan doesn't seem to actually have a left arm at all. Oh well.
I wanted to put it into color too, but that would mean starting over from the lineart. I suppose I could still do that, but this picture was originally just meant to be somthing to destract me when my Kotor comic became frustrating.

It's great to see Juhani get
It's great to see Juhani get her moment in the sun. I enjoyed her in the game and it's cool that you've managed to make her look more idealized and conventionally attractive while still retaining the features that make her recognizable.
The pose is definitely a challenging one and for the most part, you've handled it with style. I have to admit however, that I was a bit thrown off by the distance between their bodies and the lack of eye contact between them. They seem to be looking slightly past each other to me and that impedes the sense of emotional connection that I get from the picture.
Nevertheless, it's great work and it's fun to see you working in a variety of styles. Keep bringing the awesomeness.
I see what you mean
I definately took some liberties with her appearence, I just think she could have been designed a bit prettier. Besides, she's all dressed up and stuff (for some kind of party I guess). It was tough trying not to make a Mary-Sue Barbie doll out of her. I definitely spent a lot more time on her than I did Revan and I think it shows.
I absolutely agree. It’s easy to draw one person but for some reason when more people are thrown into the picture, it becomes a lot more challenging. Couples and groups are definitely something I have to work on.

This kind of makes me sad
Revan looks lovestruck but Juhani looks sad. I think if anyone in KOTOR 1 deserves to be happy it's Juhani, even if Rev--well, maybe I'd better not say anything beyond that.
You've definitely captured a little moment of sweetness with this pic. And the full hair makes Juhani look very pretty.
