Woho!! Hey everyone! Wow, it's been a reallyreally long time since I have posted anything on this site, but here I am, with a new pic to share with you :) I made this pic for a contest on deviantart, but I thought that I should post it here as well ^^
I haven't colored much with photoshop, so I'm quite new at it ;) and yes, I know it's anime/manga style, but I like to draw in that kind of style! just so you know.
This is Evana Crane, a dark Jedi, one of the many who followed Darth Revan in his/her quest of conquering the galaxy. The background isn't mine, but when I saw that pic I got this idea, where Evana comes walking towards us, looking very threatening, and so I made this pic

It had been years now since she was left on this planet, carrying out her Master's order. She was still waiting for his return, so they may finally begin the final battle against the real threat.
Evana Crane, walked on the surface of Malachor V, not faced at all by the poisonous gasses that surrounded her, neither by the lightning above her in the sky. She was completely and utterly alone, and had been so for years, but still she was waiting.
Rocks sharpened by the years and years of wind stood proudly here and there, even though all the battles that once was, and the harsh weather on this planet should have destroyed them, they still remained. This comforted Evana slightly somehow, although she still felt the loneliness grip her heart, tugging at it, pulling it even more in to the darkness that she already was in.
The first couple of months she had stayed on this planet, she had cried herself to sleep, angered that her Master would leave her in such a place, completely alone. Had she done something wrong? Had she angered her Master in any way? These thoughts and many more went through her mind at the time, but she finally realized the significance of her waiting. She finally knew what she had to do while she was here, while she was awaiting his return.
She had to prepare.
She had to prepare for the battles that lie ahead, because she remember well what her Master had shown her, the battles that is to come. She must be strong, she must be ready.
But what took him so long? Why hadn't he returned yet? Did something happen to him?
Evana shook her head to lose her dark thoughts.
She stopped when she sensed another presence in front of her. She raised her head and glanced in the direction of it. She remembered the second order she had received from her Master. She ignited her lightsaber, and a beautiful red gleam emerged from the lightsaber hilt in her right hand, while in the other hand lightning appeared, sparkling and crackling, showing some of her command over the Force.
"Your whish is my command, Lord Revan" she spoke softly as she advanced slowly towards the newly arrived presence.
Critic A La Art ( thats french for art critic)
This drawing style is very difficult to critique, considering that the objective of it is to portray detail with as little lines as possible. I'm not complaining mind you, this style is just fine.
On to the critique; Well first off, I really like the hair, you definetly gave it a flowing look. And the backround is superb.
HOWEVAH!!! There are just a few problems with this, the left hand is not clutching the lightsabre right, look closely to see what I mean. And the lit part of the right arm, due to the lack of surface lines and a lack of finger detail on the hand makes it look rather like a flat ribbon.
But I did like this. The lightsabre is way better than anything I could possibly do myself. And you did a very good job making the force lightning look like lightning.

She have fingers
She have fingers on her left hand, they are just hidden behind the lightning...I tried to fix that, but it just ended up looking weird, so this was the best I could do(but I have never really been good with hands, in fact I hate drawing hands)
I'm really pleased with how the lightsaber turned out (and also the lightning) because in the beginning I had absolutly no idea on how to get that glowy effect :P but I read some tutorials, and voila ^^

Some time after Malachor V: An eager dark apprentice waits for her master’s return.
Some problems with word usage, faced instead of fazed, whish instead of wish.
The basics are good, and I just wonder who this little homicidal maniac is. More please.
