Hard Lessons:
Last minute beyond last minute Dueling Circle entry. This was the only KotOR PC character I could be sure I hadn’t ever done anything of. Enjoy!

I think what I like most
I think what I like most about this is the expression on the Exile's face. He's so furious with Kreia for criticizing his LS actions... and in that is the danger of falling to the Dark Side. Indicates more hidden layers that are evident at first glance and the danger of falling despite the best of intentions (dun dun duuuuun!). I likey lots.
one thing kind of ruined this for me
I don't mean to demean your artwork, but, quite honestly, the first thing that jumped into my mind when seeing this piece was: "Oh, GOSH, are they about to SMOOCH?"

Okay, I can see where the smooch angle might come in but my take is more the Exile going "Ick! Get away!" than anything else.

I really like the art - you
I really like the art - you can see the emotion in the Exile's face, and Kreia just looks two smug, but the text kind of ruined it for me. It makes the whole thing kind of, well... less powerful, I guess. I think it'd be far better without.
Still, the art is beautiful, and I love the colors. :)

I actually think that the text clarifies the intent. Without it, I would be a little bit confused about the situation. Kreia definitely looks like she's going in for the smooch, but the text shows, to me, anyway, what is going on. Well, what Kreia is projecting as what's going on. Who knows? Maybe that nasty old witch really does want some.

I thought about the text for while and decided to go ahead with it anyway. The composition looks very empty without something to balance it on the left side. There may be a way to get around it… I intend to post a variant version for people to caption after the challenge, so you can compare then if you like. The text here did allow me to use more green, however, and really let the words “taint” everything on the page.

I enjoyed this. I think the expressions sum up every argument with Kreia. She always wins, and she knows it. He has that "yeah.. well.. hrmmph!" look on his face, like a sputtering teen fighting with his mother, and losing. It makes me think that his very next course of action, after this picture, is to huff away and kick Atton.
