Mazi
My Male Exile: Mazi.
Location: Minor's tunnel, approximately around where those nasty little remotes appeared.
I mostly do female Exile. So when it comes down to Male one, I only mentioned mine once, in my fanfic 'Impression, Force', and it was from the prospectives of Visas, so it went by unnoticed, no one would guess what species my Male Exile was. He he.
Another thing was the weapon of choice. Mazi was originally designed to wield a saberstaff, but that's what everybody's been doing, so I let him held a blaster instead (model designed by myself). Luckily I was reading a Japanese comic series 'D.Gray Man' at the time, there were plenty of funcky weapons to ref from.
So, have you figured out what species my Exile was yet?

No Idea
But I appreciate your open-mindedness in extending the ranks of Jedi heroes of the SW universe to species other than humans! I also like the idea that this Exile, who has been without the power of the Force so long, is not gun-shy about using a blaster! (Haha, I made a bad funny.) Love the background design and the little remote in the corner. It makes the image complete.

I know he's not a human...
Call me picky and feel free to ignore me because I know he's not supposed to be a human, but the long, swinging braid makes it hard for me view him as a man.

Culture Shock?
On the other hand, even in human culture, short, loose hair as an indicator of masculinity hasn't always been prevalent. And since we are working in the Western culture, I will use a Biblical example: Samson. He loses all of his masculine virility when he losses his long, un-cut hair. Short hair = male is something only really active in the last hundred or so years of Western culture, and who says guys can't have braids? (Viking cliches, anyone?) I won't even go into the views of other cultures on hair, which hav all changed in the course of centuries.
In short, I think that the artist has plenty of plausible real-world precedents for her design. The piece should be critiqued according to its artistic merits, not just subjective opinions. But it is certainly an interesting opportunity to consider where our preconceived biases on gender and sex come from and that, I may even argue, is certainly in the spirit of the Challenge!

""The piece should be critiqued according to its artistic merits, not just subjective opinions.""
Unfortunately, as it turns out, the outcomes of these contests are ultimately based on opinions. Unless every voter is an accomplished art critic, which I admittedly am not, votes are going to be based primarily on how much she/he enjoys the art.
But, like I said before, feel free to ignore me. I'm not a very good critic, especially of visual artwork.

First of all, it's a qeue.

Forgotten Honor
Right, folks, here is the hint
I did my species research long and hard after deciding my Male Exile isn't going to be a human. Now I am very pleased no one had guess this yet.
"An exotic, cold-blooded reptilian species known to be long lived, with life spans averaging 250 years.
The sleek symmetry of their features, calculating and cold demeanors, their exotic looks, and their ability to alter their skin pigmentation meant that them often considered to be among the most aesthetically pleasing beings in the galaxy." --Quoted form Wookieepedia, the Star War Wiki.
Anyone?

Hmm... I'm just taking a wild guess...
He looks like a Falleen. Is he?
Tachs rule. What more can I say?
Dang-dang-dang-dang~
Hah, I shouldn't make my conclusion this early. You had just got the correct answer! There, have a orange jacket cookies!

Ok, I cheated.
I went to wookieepedia and typed the hint into the search box. I found page text matches and there it was! Faleen! I kinda had a hunch before but I had to be sure. Can I still have the cookie?
Tachs rule. What more can I say?
Sure you can
You already took a bite, have you?

Nicely done
A shame they didn't have mutiple species for Revan or the Exile, but I guess Jaden in Academy got that card. But a Falleen hero? Finally, the species gets its redemption from Xizor! Good job, Tank!
Is Xizor good or bad?
Actually I am not sure if he's good or bad. He was the leader of the Black Sun, rebell Darth Vader, but he tried to seduce Lelia?
Anyway, thanks.

In answer to your question
Yes. He was very bad.
"Hrrrk...blehhh"
I like...
I like this pic a lot. Very well drawn. I like the idea of a non-human Exile, it takes the challenge one step further.
Non of my Revan and Exile were human really
This is what I like about the Jedi Academy and don't like about Kotor series (the only one).
Thanks
