Handy hints!

There's heaps of new options in your profile, sch as an avatar to be displayed with your stories, a location, and even set the timezone. Use My Account to edit it!
All the stories someone's added are now located on the 'Track' tab of their user profile.
If you'd like other users to be able to get in touch with you, there's a new option to enable a contact form on your profile.

I have an old story I would like to edit!

If you have an item you want to make changes to, you need to:

a) make your edits!

b) from the Workflow screen, if it was published BEFORE the upgrade, change it to Draft - if it was added POST upgrade, skip this step.

c) then, from the Workflow screen choose Safe edit. Do not choose Ready for publishing or it will go in the mod queue and have its date mucked up, meaning your stories will then be out of order on your author page. And no one wants that!

Delete an old piece of work

I'm trying to remove one of my older submissions, but I can't figure out how? Please tell me there is a way. :(

My edit tab is gone...

Okay, I've followed the steps up above and changed the chapter I wanted to fix into a draft, but I still can't access the chapter itself to make any changes.

The only tabs I see up top are the View, Revision, and Workflow tabs. No sign of the Edit tab anywhere.

I've got 16 chapters that don't have an edit tab. 17 and up seem to work just fine. I can access them, but I just don't even know what I did wrong. Guh! Please, help.
