What Be Goin' On?

You'll notice something odd with the submissions: they are in "pirate talk" for a bit of fun from Talk Like A Pirate Day. The stories will revert back soon, no worries.

The pirate talk is going soon? Great! I don't know about anyone else but 'pirate talk' is damn hard to read and it has been going on a little long, for my tastes...
When is this getting fixed?!!
I was being blamed for it and I was like "What?" It's funny though, my friend works at the pirate house in Savanah (which will be showcased on TV on Halloween, hinthint) and is obsessed with pirates (damn history major).

Oh thank goodness, because I thought one of my favorite authors decided to write like that and I was a little peeved that it was done. Pirate Talk gives me a headache to read. lol

I'm glad it's over too, though I wish this announcement had been made on the DAY it was done, instead of a week later. Then perhaps half of us wouldn't have thought the site had been hacked.

I find it really amazing that even though the pirate talk has been down for a day, that people are *still* bitching. To say that I'm disappointed by the maturity level displayed this last week is an understatement.
Get over it. And get over yourselves. This was not a personal slam on anyone. It was a fun joke that one of the mods played. And quite frankly, the world did not end because the stories on this site were in pirate talk for four days.
So stop with the bratty entitlement complexes please. My three year old is more mature than this.
