Awkward Memories.
It was late evening and the moon shone brightly from the night sky; stars were twinkling to there fullest. Revan looked very sad and distant, he didn't want to concern all his friends that something was bothering him, so he pulled away from the warmth of his friends and stood alone at the edge of the Jedi temple staring into the night sky. Something painful memory came back to him but he couldn't really put the pieces together. Flashes of his old past kept taunting him, something terrible he had done and with it: pain. Revan sighed, feeling joy and deep regret at the same time. As he continued to gaze at the horizon, he felt someone's presence nearby, he turned to see a concerned Bastila gazing at him, her face showed concern and passion at the same time, she didn't make any effort to invade his space until she got an answer from him.
'Revan, is every thing okay?' Bastila asked, concerned.
Revan didn't reply, he took an un-easy deep breath and sighed as if something was deeply worrying him, he then turned his head towards Bastila looking sad and worried.
Bastila frowned when he didn't answer. Every time something seemed to bother him most of the time she could read what was wrong with him with the bond they both shared. But this time it was different. She studied him with worry, she saw enormous pain which echoed on his soul, it looked like he needed to solve this catastrophe problem or dire consequences would surface.
'Revan?' Bastila mumbled, worriedly.
As she drew nearer to him, she felt something from him she never felt in him before. Emotions that weren't part of the Jedi code, but neither of the Sith, but something way more terrible then both put together.
She almost shared his experience, before she felt Revan block it out from her, to protect her, and so she wouldn't experience what he was experiencing. Bastila heard Revan sigh un-easily.
'My love, is every thing okay?' she replied again. Coming up to him and putting a hand on his shoulder. But she truly knew that he wasn't okay.
'I don't know,' he said un-easily, and knowing that it was a little lie with it.
Suddenly a quick memory suddenly flashed in a quick second, totally startling the young Jedi.
'I promise you Revan, that when the time is right, I will come for anyone that you deeply care about. That was our deal, I will claim what is rightfully mine,'
Revan was startled, he found himself staring horridly back into the eyes of his loved one; Bastila. He suddenly realized that was one of the pieces of memories that was surfacing. Something or someone was going to claim what rightfully was theirs, but he still didn't realize what he had done to get himself into this situation in the fist place, still many un-solved questions. No matter what, he would not let anyone put his or her hands on Bastila, even if it meant his death. He decided that he would travel to the Unknown regions to seek the answers; alone.
'Bastila...' he said her name un-easily. 'I...' he faltered for a moment, then found the courage to continue. 'I have to go away for a while,' he said, sadly.
He felt Bastila stiffen.
'Revan no, I can't let you go, tell me what's bothering you, and I might be able to help you,' she tried to protest, but that got her no where, when Revan grabbed her gently and passionately kissed her on the lips.
Their lips met passionately for a long while, Bastila made no effort to resist as she rapped her arms around Revans neck, but before she could do any thing else he finally broke the kiss and pulled back to look at her with deep love. Bastila remained silent as she studied him; something about their little private moment seemed to explain every thing to her.
'Revan? You're scared of loosing me aren't you?' she replied, frowning.
Revan stiffened, as he heard her say the question. He didn't expect her to ask, but it seems that he was wrong, and with this Force bond they shared he saw her that she didn't even need the bond, to get her answer. Now feeling even more un-easy with Bastila sensing what his problem was, but the trouble ran deeper then just loosing her.
'Bastila...' he said her name more calmly this time. 'I need to sort this problem out myself, but please don't get involved,' he replied, meekly.
'But Revan, where are you going?' she asked. A curious mind that never stops asking questions.
'Shhh, no more questions, my love,' he shooshed her, as he grabbed her in a hug to ease her concern. 'Stargaze with me, my love, please...' he pleaded, as he gently turned his head up towards the stars with Bastila doing the same thing, for now they both enjoyed each other's company as Revan calmed himself and forgot about his pain, for now...

Nice. An interesting point of view of the time when Revan realized that he needed to leave. I like it.
Awesome! I love these fanfics with an LSM Revan and Bastila.
Very beautiful!

PostKOTOR: Revan knows he must go, and wishes he didn’t.
Some word usage problems uneasily doesn’t need to be hyphenated neither does unsolved; and you used fist instead of first then rapped instead of wrapped. These are editing problems, easily corrected.
The piece flowed well, the quiet time before Revan left to go on his mission lovingly portrayed.
