There Is One Last Thing

Rejection Duelling Circle Entry

Do you know why we have called you here? As Revan summoned you, so have you come full circle to return to the Jedi.

I followed Revan, as I appear before you; on my own, of my free will.

The Jedi are guardians of the peace and have been for centuries. This call to war undermines all that we have worked for.

We are also guardians of the innocent and helpless. Abandoning them to the darkness destroys all that we stand for.

You refuse to hear us. You have shut us out, and so have shut yourself to the galaxy.

I want to scream, to make you hear me. You are shutting me out, you are shutting out the galaxy.

You are exiled, and you are a Jedi no longer.

You may reject me, but I will never renounce the path of the Light. If I cannot be a Jedi in name, I will still be a Jedi in truth. This is where we are different.

There is one last thing. Your lightsaber. Surrender it to us.

SNAP-HISS

Simple and powerful. Good job Winter.

Aheheh we get to see a closeup of the sabre that got stuck into the centre stone. Excellent.

This really is the symbol of rejection, and not just of the Order. The Exile left everything behind when the saber was stuck into the fountain. Nice work.

I completely agree with what Miraea Starr said; simple and powerful.

"I agree."

"I"

"I"

That just came to mind as I was reading this and agreeing. Good work!

I like the story; it's better than the picture at any rate. I feel like that at the council too!

Awesome.

The simplicity is what really makes this good.

It just feels... right.

You may reject me, but I will never renounce the path of the Light. If I cannot be a Jedi in name, I will still be a Jedi in truth. This is where we are different.

I loved this line. The picture is very symbolic. Very nice work, Winter!

Yup. Very symbolic yet simple. Interesting saber design, not just straight tube-shaped like most...
