HK's Story Chapter 2 : Dumped on Tatooine

Note from the Author: Some of the events that take place in this story are not entirely true.

Many years later...

"[Statement] Master the jedi meatbags are in the hanger bay and are quickly proceeding to the bridge. [Query] May I exterminate them?"

"No HK, These jedi are like no other meatbags you have ever faced. I need you to shut down until I reactivate you, do you understand?" Revan ordered his most loyal droid.

"[Answer] Yes, master. Activating shut down sequence. 3,2,1." HK answered then shut down. Revan was standing on the bridge of his command ship watching the battle that was taking place outside the windows, before his eyes. Suddenely he heard the sound of several lightsabers igniting behind him. He ignited his. The blade was a magnificent red, the color of all the blood that he had spilled. He turned, four jedi were standing there, their lightsabers in a defensve stance.

"You cannot win Revan!" It was Bastila's voice, she was there too, one of Revan's friends before his fall to the dark side. He would have no choice. He put his lightsaber into a defensive stance. Just then the ship shook violently. Malak had fired on his master ship. Betrayal. Revan and the other jedi fell down, then everything went black.

Bastila got up and checked her fellow jedi's pulses.Dead. She checked Revan's. He was still alive! It seemed impossible. She couldn't just kill him.She dragged Revan all the way to her jedi starfighter that had landed in the hangar bay.She had started to get him inside when she heard a voice.

"[Unnecessary Threat] I cannot let you do that, jedi, hands up!" It was HK-47. Bastilla used stun droid on him.

"[Diagnostic] Systems failing, master!" HK fell to the ground with a thud. Bastila quickly stuffed him in the storage compartment. She put Revan's unconscious body in the co-pilots chair and got into the pilot's chair. She strapped herself in and flew out of the hangar just as the ship it self blew up from continuous fire from Malak's ship.

"Master Vandar? this is Bastila, I have captured Revan, he is unconscious but I have him. And I also found this odd assassin droid." Bastila said into the comm system,

"Hmm. Meet us at the enclave on Dantooine, you must." Master Vandar said.

"Yes master." Bastila answered then entered hyperspace.

Later at the Aratech Store on Dantooine...

"What should we do with the droid? We are not droid sellers! And this one has illegal upgrades!" The first Twilek asked the second.

"We shall sell him to the Ithorian droid seller on Tatooine. He will buy this unique droid." The second Twilek answered. HK had been memory wiped and didn't remember anything about Darth Revan or Malak or even that he belonged to them. All he knew now was that he was going to be sold to an Ithorian on Tatooine. But he didn't care, he didn't care about anything right now. He didn't care about anything as he was loaded onto a freighter and took the long hyperspace journey to Tatooine. He just wanted to remember something. He shut down for the long journey to Tatooine.

When he was reactivated he found himself in a droid shop owned the Ithorian meatbag. He begged everyone that passed by to buy him but everyone thought that he was creepy. It was rare to find a droid that can speak the sand people language, but who would want to be friends with the sand people? They were ruthless killers. Now he cared. He wanted to be bought. He didn't like being owned by an Ithorian and having to stand in a shop all day waiting for someone to buy him. The days got longer and more boring, HK didnt like it but he had no other choice but to sit there and wait for someone to come along and say, 'I love this droid! How much is he?'. But nobody just came along and said that, to be honest, nobody needed an assasination droid who could speak the sand people language, they would rather buy a real protocol droid that doesn't know sand people language and doesn't want (or know how to) assassinte anybody. Everyone forgot him, Revan, Bastila, the Jedi masters. They didn't care about him. He was dumped and forgotten on Tatooine to be owned by an Ithorian droid seller. The only person who would want to buy him would be someone who wanted to talk to the sand people. For negotiations or otherwise.

Interesting story, though a bit short. I had hoped to see HK's travels from master to master the way he describes it when you repair him in the game (each meeting their own unfortunate demise because of their association with him). I realize that you said some of the things that happen in this story weren't true (which I assume has to do with Boa Dura building HK) but having him just dumped on Tatooine right after Revan's capture sort of seems... rushed (as well as untrue), I guess.

Interesting how you're weaving this story together....HK is an awesome subject, so good job so far! ^^

I Would Make A COMMENT IF I COULD BUT I CANT .........................SO I WONT

I love it! You're very good and you should write more.
